Loaned Executive Program
What is the Loaned Executive (LE) Program?
Loaned Executives will work for CFC during the annual campaign for 17 weeks from mid-August through mid-December.
Loaned Executives work with volunteers and staff to manage employee campaigns in federal government organizations. They organize employee rallies, train solicitors, make presentations to ask for donations, collect and submit donations, problem solve where necessary and make recommendations for future campaigns.
A five-day training program builds knowledge of the CFC and our community. Time is spent on team building, public speaking, fundraising strategies, account management, sales, leadership skills and much more.
Why is the Program Important?
For CFC - Our campaign depends on LEs to complement staff and volunteers. They are a crucial link that makes it possible for all campaigns to be successful in the workplace. Success in the workplace makes it possible to continually meet critical health and human services needs in our community.
For the Individual - Being an LE enhances public speaking, leadership, sales and organizational skills. We offer an extensive training program, which includes past LE expertise, and tips on public speaking by a well-known local sports anchor. There are excellent networking opportunities with corporate, civic and fundraising professionals.
For the Employer - We provide a unique professional growth opportunity for your high potential employees, increase your visibility for your federal agency with other agencies in the area and will reduce your training expenses. Your employee will have the opportunity to develop their management and people skills while contributing to the good of the community.
